Zeytun Pharmaceuticals LLC provided 50,000 free PCR test kits to the Ministry of Health for testing for COVID-19

As you know, the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, from the first days of the fight against the COVID-19 virus in the country, identified the protection of health and social security as the main tasks and instructed to draw the attention of government agencies and private sector companies.

Thus, Zeytun Pharmaceuticals LLC has provided 50,000 free PCR test kits to the Ministry of Health of Azerbaijan for laboratory testing of a new type of coronavirus infection in our country.

According to WHO guidelines, COVID-19 coronavirus testing should be performed by reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction (PCR). As stated in the recommendations, this is currently the most accurate and reliable diagnostic method for coronavirus infection. It helps to detect even very small amounts of the virus in human biological material and to diagnose the disease during the incubation period. The examination kits provided by Zeytun Pharmaceuticals were immediately sent to the Special Dangerous Infections Control Center.

It should be noted that the Center for Control of Special Dangerous Infections is the largest laboratory for diagnosing coronavirus in Azerbaijan. Samples taken from people suspected of being infected with the virus are tested here.
